My Son’s Favorite Meal

Standard

I work late a lot so the night before I made this I boiled about 4 to 5 boneless / skinless chicken breast. I started them frozen I put the water in the pan, put the chicken in the water and turn it on high and set the timer for 1 hour. Then I let it set in the pan with no heat on for 30 min. Then I put it in the refrigerator.

Oh and by the way the name of the dinner is 7 Cheese Tortellini with chicken and white sauce.

All you need is:

Chicken

7 Cheese Tortellini

White sauce ( homemade or in a jar )

Butter

Garlic

Salt and pepper

Season salt

The next day I washed the chicken and cut it in chunks. Then I put some butter and garlic in the cast iron skillet to heat up the chicken and it makes it a little brown and the flavor is awesome.

Here is the tortellini  I get it from Costco it comes in a 2 pack. I freeze one and use one.

It’s very fragile. You only have to cook it for the most 8 min. After the water is already boiling that is.

Here I have the Chicken and Tortellini cooking. See the browning on the chicken? It is so delicious!

I mixed it all together and it is ready to serve.

To go with the 7 cheese Tortellini and white sauce is of course Garlic Bread.

And not just Garlic Bread but garlic bread with cheese 🙂

Being served to my husband 🙂

Being served to my son 🙂 2 very happy men.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog I hope you enjoyed it. Have an awesome 3 day weekend I know I will 🙂

My Treasure a Heavy Duty Mixer

Standard

One day I was helping my Aunt Brenda ( My Mom’s Sister ) Move a friend and my Aunt had things at her house she needed to get rid of so she asked me if I would like to see what she had and that I could have it.  In the things she needed to get rid of was this beautiful Heavy Duty Mixer.  She asked me if I wanted it and I said sure. Let me tell you I had no ideal what a Treasure I had. I got it about 2 or 3 years ago. Then one day I was at my friend Belen’s house and she had a Classic Mixer. And she said she was praying for God to make a way for her to get a white one ( her Kitchen and dishes are white ) and she did a friend give it to her. Well mine was just setting in the garage. Until one day my daughter Tiffany was making some wonderful lemon cupcakes. And I guess she was stirring it my hand. Then I remembered I had that mixer out in the garage and I told her to use that. When I got home that evening it was in the house all clean and ready for use.

Now the ones I had seen did not have the arms like this one. I guess that would mean it’s Heavy Duty.

Here is a front view of it with out the paddle and bowl.

A picture of the whole thing. Well with out the bowl and paddle 🙂

This shows where the bowl hooks to the arms. And also how beautiful it is 🙂

Now here is the bowl.

The bowl has 2 holes and a handle.

Here is the other hole. That metal arm sticking out there lefts up the bowl so the paddle can mix all the way to the bottom of the bowl.

Here is the paddle and bowl in there right place 🙂

Here is some beautiful display things Tiffany bought to display her awesome cupcakes!

This is just some of her cupcake helpers.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog I hope you liked it.

God Bless and have an awesome weekend 🙂

My Bathroom ( part 1 )

Standard

Hello every one so sorry it has taking me so long to blog. I have been working 2 jobs so I have a min. to blog so here I go.

This is my bathroom and oh how I would love to remodel it but it is not my house we are just renters. I would love one day to be able to buy it!! That is my prayer. Well there is 4 of us living in this house it’s a 3 Bedroom and 1 bathroom. Now  with 1 Man and 3 Lady’s it is a little rough some times. But we manage. I did put a shelf  up because everything was on the counter and well it just looks much better this way.

The 2 jars with the cork tops I got from my friend’s garage sale. The mirror is my daughter Brittany’s and the mason jar of course is mine. I filled it with the rest of the q-tips and they fit just right.  So when you are facing the sink this is on the left.

And this is to the right of the sink. I love Bath and Body Works and that is where I get my hand soap and at Christmas time last year I got the medal cover for it 🙂 and I’m not to sure what the black wrought iron thing is for but I use it for the combs and brushes. It just helps it to look neater.

Now we keep to the right and that is above the toilet. I’m showing this now because there are changes to come that way we can see before and after.

Keeping to the right is the window now in the morning while getting ready for work the sun is so bright so I’m in the process of putting up a curtain and rod my friend Belen  is fixing the curtain for me to put up 🙂 Then as you keep to the right that would be the Tub/Shower. Sorry I did not get a picture of the tub/shower. I will have one next time because I will be hanging a shower curtain and it will look so much better 😉

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I’m looking forward to sharing more about my house, food and my new things I get 🙂
