Good bye Flowers

My beautiful friends at Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek had me a going away party. And these are the flowers they got me. I had worked there for 6 yrs. So I brought the flowers home and put them on the table.

Aren’t they just so beautiful? I love sun flowers and all the colors are so pretty.

I have 4 of the class dishes that I put the 3 candles in so I put the flowers in the 4th one. And it worked out just right.

Just another view of my dinning table with the flowers on it. Oh it looks like I found another place to put the water bottles. That is just until I find the right spot for that stand.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. A little short but sweet 🙂

New toys for my Kitchen

Ok so I am a huge Pioneer Woman Fan 🙂 She cooks the way my family likes. And she is always cooking in the Cast Iron Skillet. So I had to get me one a 12″. Now I did have a 8″ I had gotten from my Mom’s place. Down at the mail boxes if someone does not want something they just leave it there for anyone to take that can use it.  I that is when I got my first Cast Iron Skillet. The only thing was that it was a little small for my family of 5. So when I was at Wal-Mart one day I seen this Cast Iron Skillet and had to get it.

While I was there I was looking for some Salt and Pepper dishes with lids. I’m still looking for some. But for now I found these very small mason jars that I am using right now.

Just a picture of how it looks with them on the counter. Oh yes and after we drank all the water bottles. I found something else to put there. I like it much better 🙂

I also got a new Coffee Pot. The white one is the old. Every time we would pour the coffee in to our cup it would spill. It would also smell so bad because when you would pour yourself a cup of coffee it would drip on the burner. And I could not get it clean. But this black one is so awesome. It will turn off if on to long after it’s done brewing. No Coffee has dripped on the Burner and I love it.

I love it! It’s up to date more modern 🙂

I hope you enjoyed my little changes I made. And my little toys I got!

A Plane on the Freeway

One day when I was on my way to work. At this time I was working  11:30am to 8:00pm. I was tripping 🙂 An airplane on the interstate was just not real. So we caught up with it. Not sure what kind it is.

Here is another view a little closer. This is in Walnut Creek California. I just thought I would share this with you. I hope you liked it. By the way if you know what kind of plane this is I would love to know.

Thank you for taking to time to read my blog. Have an awesome day 🙂

Bristol Speedway in 2006

When we went to the store they had this car out front to promote the Nascar Race 🙂 At the Bristol Speedway. My Husband Tony is a huge Nascar Fan. Also a huge 24 Jeff Gordon  Fan!!!

We were there early (to early for me)  like 7:00am. And it was a night race. Well I did tell you Tony was a huge Nascar Fan. It was awesome the first time we had been. The place was huge. I worked  for Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek California at this time and the owner of the trace is the owner of Mercedes-Benz of Walnut Creek. O. Bruton Smith.

And what was so cool is that Jeff Gordon’s Car was right down in front of us!!! See it?

Here is an even better picture with the #24 car. Man it was so hot there. Now again I’m from California so we have beautiful summers out here we get some hot days but its more dry heat here. I thought it was very muggy there but I guess compared to other places it’s not that bad. But when you are from California its bad 🙂

Just a picture of the stands. Empty for now because it is so early 🙂 But as the day went on it became full 🙂

This is our view from where we were setting. We had an awesome time. I’m so glad I went. But the next year I did not go it was just to hot for me. But of course Tony went 🙂 He went 5 years in a row 🙂

The stands look a little fuller. And the Sun is going down. Getting ready for the Big Race!!

Gentlemen start your engines!!!! Here we go 🙂

Thank you so much for reading my blog I hope you enjoyed it 🙂

If you have never been to Dollywood it is something you should do. I live in California. My Mom and Dad were living in Tenn. My Brother Scott with his wife Krystal and daughter Bethany Still live in Tenn. So we would go visit every year. On our visits we would go to the Smoky Mountains, Sevierville and Gatlinburg. Loved it!!

Lunch with Brittany

This is Brittany my baby and I 🙂 Saturday after I got off work we had a Mother Daughter day 😉 First we went to lunch at

Red Robin in Concord California. We were having a nice time talking and watching people. Our waiter came to take our order. So we told him we wanted to hummus and vegi plate and a Chicken rap with fruit. So after some time this is what we got.

So we asked where the hummus plate was? Well he was not listening to us. Because that we the first thing we ordered! But he did not bring it. A girl did and we asked where the hummus plate was and it was not ordered. So she brought it out after a while.

Here it is, It was ok the hummus did not have much flavor. So after the girl brought the hummus no one came to check on us for a long time. So finely the guy come by and asked if our waitress had been helping up. We said no and we are ready to go so he went to get our check. And when he come back someone had tried to scratch out the name of the waiter or waitress. We did end up getting the hummus plate free.

So after lunch we went for a walk in the park. It was a little hot when we were walking in the Sun. But when we were walking under the trees it was so nice with a nice cool breeze blowing on our faces. After our walk Brittany wanted to go to Starbucks for some tea. She was doing the driving 😉

Here is our Passion Tea’s. Oh yes and we both got a cake pop 🙂 Oh and did I mention that this whole day was treated by Brittany 😉 Brittany thank you so much for lunch and Starbucks. I had a great time 😉 Love you!

Ship loading

My husband Tony was working at a ship yard in Pittsburg California. First he was working at the Shell Refinery in Martinez California. At the refinery he would load trucks with coke. Not the coke you are thinking. After they make gas, jet fuel, oil and all that good stuff. The coke is the left overs they can not use. So they sell it to other country’s to use for electricity. Then Tony was transferred to Pittsburg to where the truck take the coke from Shell. Here is a ship loading up with coke.

When Tony would work on the ship he would have to watch the loader. There would be about 5 big holds to load up. So he would have to check to make sure it was not getting to full then move it to the next hold. It was remote-controlled.

There is Tony waving at Brittany and I we were there to pick him up from work. We loved it when it was ship loading time.

Here he is done with his shift and ready to go home. He worked 7:00am to 7:.30pm or 7:00pm to 7:30am.

Just thought I would share this with you 🙂

This is the view out my living room window. I love the green and orange. It’s like my curtains 🙂 A little over a month ago my Brother Scott and his family Krystal his wife and Bethany his little girl she is 6. Come to visit from Tenn. And I made dinner when they came to my house one night. They were staying with my Brother Paul. When Krystal and Bethany  saw the Oranges out the window They wanted to know if they can pick some and eat them. I said sure help your self. And they did. Now Krystal and Bethany have never seen an Orange tree. They do not have them in Tenn. They loved them! They took some to Paul’s house and my Mom got to try them and loved them. I fact she wants me to bring her some too 🙂 Anything for you Momma 😉

And the oranges are so good! Big, Juicy and sweet. We can not eat them fast enough.

Just one more view. There is a chair under the window!
