Oil, Salt and Pepper holders

Standard

This is where I keep my oil, salt and pepper. For a long time I kept my Olive Oil in a clear glass bottle. Then I read and heard that Olive Oil was to be kept in a dark place. So one day when I was at Sur La Table I found a new Olive oil holder.

Here it is! I have to tell you it was so funny when I was putting the Olive oil in it as you can see it’s not clear so I really did not know when it was time to stop pouring the oil in until it came out the spout hahahaha. And it landed on the cork lid of the salt holder that is the next picture.

This is the salt holder. Yes so on the cork lid a little less than half is a darker color than the rest. I may have to oil the whole  thing so I won’t have to see it like that 🙂 But I love it 🙂 It works for me!

Now Sur La Table does not have one for pepper. I’m thinking because they want you to get the one that grinds the pepper. I will get that one some day. But my awesome friend had 2 of these salt holders and she gave me one so I use it for the pepper.

They are all together on the counter in front of the stove just where I need them. I love fixing up my Kitchen and sharing my new things with you all.

Thank you for reading my blog about fixing up my house have a great coming up weekend 🙂

My Treasure a Heavy Duty Mixer

Standard

One day I was helping my Aunt Brenda ( My Mom’s Sister ) Move a friend and my Aunt had things at her house she needed to get rid of so she asked me if I would like to see what she had and that I could have it.  In the things she needed to get rid of was this beautiful Heavy Duty Mixer.  She asked me if I wanted it and I said sure. Let me tell you I had no ideal what a Treasure I had. I got it about 2 or 3 years ago. Then one day I was at my friend Belen’s house and she had a Classic Mixer. And she said she was praying for God to make a way for her to get a white one ( her Kitchen and dishes are white ) and she did a friend give it to her. Well mine was just setting in the garage. Until one day my daughter Tiffany was making some wonderful lemon cupcakes. And I guess she was stirring it my hand. Then I remembered I had that mixer out in the garage and I told her to use that. When I got home that evening it was in the house all clean and ready for use.

Now the ones I had seen did not have the arms like this one. I guess that would mean it’s Heavy Duty.

Here is a front view of it with out the paddle and bowl.

A picture of the whole thing. Well with out the bowl and paddle 🙂

This shows where the bowl hooks to the arms. And also how beautiful it is 🙂

Now here is the bowl.

The bowl has 2 holes and a handle.

Here is the other hole. That metal arm sticking out there lefts up the bowl so the paddle can mix all the way to the bottom of the bowl.

Here is the paddle and bowl in there right place 🙂

Here is some beautiful display things Tiffany bought to display her awesome cupcakes!

This is just some of her cupcake helpers.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog I hope you liked it.

God Bless and have an awesome weekend 🙂

Cups and Saucers for my roses

Standard

Here is one of my beautiful roses. I have some cups and saucers setting on my bookshelf in the kitchen. So I thought it would look pretty to put a rose in it. So we can enjoy the roses in the house. I loved it 🙂

The color of the rose matched the color of the cup and saucer. It is beautiful!

In this cup I put smaller roses. What do you think?

Just a side view.

Sorry the color is not that good it was just so bright in there. That is just the outside light. I thought it looked awesome and it smelled so good 🙂

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I hope you enjoyed it. Have an awesome day!

Orgenizing my kitchen cupboard

Standard

This is my messy cupboard that everyone can see when you are in my kitchen.

Wow what a mess! Look how there is dishes, sprays, oils and teas.

This is the other side with cups and glasses.

Wow so much better. I put my bowls I use a lot on the top shelf. Then on the bottom shelf I put all the sprays, oils along with all the liquids.

This cabinet is to the right of the last one I showed you. There are my mason jars and oh yes my Pampered Chef. I love my Pampered Chef. I will blog about that soon.

Then this cupboard is to the right of the mason jar cupboard. I put the cups on the top shelf and the glasses on the bottom. It is so much better. Lets see what it  looks like with the cupboard doors shut.

Wow so much better. It looks organized 😉

Here is a cupboard all by itself. With all my colorful dishes.

Now that one looks nice with the door shut. This one has always been this way 🙂

This one I did not get a before picture. But believe me it was a mess. Look how nice it looks now!

This cupboard is in the island under the stove. Oh and it was a mess I did not get the before picture.

This is to the left of the one I just showed you. Not so much you can do with that piping for the stove vent.

This pull out cupboard is up high above the oven. It was ok I just did not get much use out of it. So I did some organizing and came up with this.

So I put the food processor in the back I do not use that much. Then put my pans up there so much easier to reach.

I love this little pull out cupboard. Here it is a mess.

Wow so much better I can see what I have in there now 🙂

Same cupboard just from the other side.

Will I hope you enjoyed this blog. Have an awesome Easter weekend!
