Well we had Pasta with Chicken and white sauce. But I did not make the white sauce from scratch I used it from a jar.
Salt and Pepper
First I started the pasta in a pot with a lid. Here I melted the butter and added some garlic to it.
Yes I do add garlic and lots of it yummy!
I had 2 Chicken Breast that I had boiled the other day so I shredded it and put it in the skillet with the butter and garlic.
After I added the Chicken to the butter and garlic I added salt and pepper to it and let it heat up.
Then I added the Pasta to the boiling water.
I cut up the green onions with my Pampered Chef knife and it works awesome 🙂 And there is my White sauce I got it from Walmart.
After 11 min. I drained the pasta and put it back in the pot.
Then I added the white sauce, chicken and the green onions.
Then I stirred it altogether and the family loved it!!! Now I have to tell you I have made the sauce from scratch before but right now I am working 2 jobs so I used the jar sauce and it was just fine.

Here is the Teriyaki Chicken. I put chicken thighs and 2 chicken breast. I started them frozen. Then I put so minced garlic, brown sugar and some Teriyaki sauce. Put it in the crock pot all day on low. And it turned out so good.
In a lg bowl I grated Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
In 3 small bowls I put 2 table spoons of flour, In the next bowl I put 1 egg, in the third bowl I put salt, pepper and dry mustard.
In a lg bowl I put about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 cups of milk.
My pasta is cooked and drained awaiting the cheese sauce. In the next pot I have started my cheese sauce. I melted some butter then I put a small amount of minced garlic in the butter. Then I added the flour after a few min. I added the cold milk. After it heated up I put in the salt, pepper and dry mustard. After it is hot I took a soup ladle and added the hot sauce to the egg slowly. Then I added the egg to the sauce. I stirred it for a few more min. then I added the 3 cheeses to the sauce. And of course I had to try it and it was so yummy!!
I poured the cheese sauce on the pasta.
I buttered this dish and poured the mac n cheese in it. The dish was a little small and it started over flowing. So I took some out and Tiffany, Tony and I ate it.
I had saved some cheese to put on top before I baked it.
350 degrees and 20 min later this is what came out of the oven.
To go with the Teriyaki Chicken I cut and cooked in some oil and butter an onion and 1 huge red bell pepper.
Then I added some crushed pineapple about 3 table spoons to it after the onions and peppers were cooked all the way.
And here it is all on the plate. My husband loved it! Well they all did my son and daughters.

I have always made Mac n Cheese out of a box. Then one day I was checking out the Pioneer Woman on you tube. And I watched her make Mac n Cheese it looked so easy. So I thought I would try it. Now again I always made it from the box and you do not bake that one. So I made it with out baking it this time. And it was yummy 🙂
While you are cooking the pasta you can start the sauce about the last 5 min the pasta is cooking. To make the sauce add
2 tbsp of butter. Melt it in a sauce pan then add
2 tsp of flour. Add to the butter whisk it around then add
about 2 to 2 1/2 cups of milk then add
salt and pepper. Let it get hot! In a small bowl crack an egg in it. After the milk is hot add some of the milk slowly to the egg and whisk it so the egg will not scramble. then slowly pour the egg in to the milk sauce. Then add
Cheese. As much as you like and as many as you like. I did Mild Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheese.
After it is melted then add the pasta and stir 🙂
If you would like to bake it you would bake it at 350 for about 15 to 20 min. What I like to do is put half in the baking pan and then put more cheese on it then add the rest of the Mac n Cheese then cover it with more cheese!
Along with the Mac n Cheese we had fresh green beans. I covered them with water and put a lid on it. Cooked it at med. high heat. after the water had reduced I take the lid off to let the rest evaporate. Then I add salt, pepper and garlic butter that I make.
Then we had Tri-Tip and that garlic bread that I make. It was so yummy!

I was checking out the Pioneer Woman’s ( Ree Drummond ) Website. And she had a blog about Mason jars. She was saying you can put left overs in them, Drink out of them, Save your Bacon grease in them, you can also make a soap dispenser out of them. Now that I’m going to do. I will show it when its done 🙂
Now this bag just takes up to much space in my cupboard. I was so excited to get me some Mason Jars to put things like this in them. Look how the jar would take up less space. Plus you can stack them on top of each other.
Yes I like it so much better! I have some canisters that are not that big. So when I put like sugar and flour in them it might not fit all of the sugar and flour so I put the rest in a mason jar. I also have like coffee, sunflower seeds, sometimes I put pasta in them.
Here are my Canisters. Tony and I went to an estate sale with our awesome friends the Woodrums. And Belen bought the four big ones in the back for me. Then one day I was at Ross and found the 2 little ones on sale so I bought them 🙂
Here is some more mason jars filled with my goodies 🙂 I always get a big bag of rice and I would keep it in a cupboard in the garage. Then one day when I was at Wal-Mart checking out the Mason Jars I saw it. That huge glass canister I loved it. My rice fit in it and the rest in 1 Large mason jar. And I think it looks so beautiful out there!
