Blackberry Cobbler

Standard

I got this recipe from the Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond. My family loves it!

Ingredients:

1/2 stick of butter. Now I have used 1 stick and it works great. Then I use that same stick to butter the pan you are going to bake it in. Then melt what is left.

1 1/4 cups of sugar

1 cup of self-rising flour

1 cup of whole milk

2 cups of fresh ( or frozen ) blackberries

Whip cream and/or ice cream for serving

Here is my touch I add 2 or 3 handfuls of white chocolate chips

Bake at 350 for 1 hour

This is all the ingredients:

Here we go 🙂

This is what I bake the cobbler in. The lid is for after it has cooled down and so it well stay fresh.

I washed the blackberries and put them on a paper towel to dry them. Now I’m sure this is just 1 cup not 2 cups. But the price of blackberries right now is just to high and this amount works for us.

I just put another paper towel on top to dry them.

1 cup of self-rising flour.

1 cup of sugar added to the 1 cup of self-rising flour.

Whisk the self-rising flour and sugar together.

Add 1 cup of milk to the self-rising flour and sugar.

Whisk them all together.

Butter the baking dish you are going to use.

Then put the remaining butter in a microwave safe dish so you can melt the butter to put in the batter.

Add the melted butter the self-rising flour, sugar and milk.

Pour the batter in the baking dish.

Now to add the goodies 🙂

At this point I add some delicious white chocolate chips.

and some delicious blackberries.

Then I put the 1/4 cup of sugar all over the top.

Now it’s ready to put in the oven at 350 for 1 hour.

1 hour later it will look like this and taste wonderful with some ice cream and/or whip cream on it or even with out the ice cream and whip cream it still taste wonderful 🙂

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog I hope you liked it. Have an awesome week 🙂

Raspberries and White Chocolate

Standard

All you will need is:

Raspberries  &

White Chocolate Chips

Here are the raspberries after I washed them. Then I pat them dry with a paper towel.

I keep my White Chocolate Chips in a mason jar after I open the bag.  So then I take the raspberry and stuff it with 2 sometimes 3 white chocolate chips.

As I feel them with the white chocolate chips I set them up in a cute dish. Now I did see this on pinterest. And I had to try it and I have to tell you they are delicious 🙂 Something about the tartness of the raspberry and the sweet of the white chocolate just works. In a good way.

Here they are ready to eat. My girls loved them. And of course I love them too 🙂

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you try these and like them just like we did.

My easy Spaghetti Dinner

Standard

First I fry a pound or so of hamburger. I would fry some onions and garlic then put the hamburger in but I did not have an onion. So I started the hamburger and put in a 3 table spoons of minced garlic in it. And I used one of my skillets I bought from Sur La Table 🙂

Now this tool is an awesome little thing. It’s called a Mix N Chop! From Pampered Chef. I used to the help me in frying the hamburger. Oh yes and check out my skillet from Sur La Table it’s so easy to clean after use. I do let it cool down first. So it won’t warp.

Here is the Spaghetti I cooked it for 12 min.

Okay I’m very sorry I do not have a home-made spaghetti sauce. I have never made a home-made sauce. I would love to make one that I can get red of the acid so my family would eat it. Heart burn this is why! I love spaghetti so I make it now my girls might have a little but my husband and son will not touch it because of heart burn.

So anyways I used this sauce one of my favorites. And it was really good!

Then I put it all together. And let all the flavors marry. Now this is how my Mom would make it. Well she loves elbow macaroni and so do I. But my husband and girls like long string spaghetti. So this is how I make it 🙂

And to top it off I put Cheddar Cheese. And it was very yummy.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I hope you enjoyed it 🙂
